HAND FORGED HOOP EARRINGS
Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Discover the art of jewelry-making in this immersive workshop where you’ll create your own pair of handmade sterling silver hoop earrings! Perfect for beginners and those looking to build their metalworking skills, this class will cover essential techniques including sawing, filing, sanding, soldering, forging, and forming. Guided by a skilled instructor, you’ll learn each step of the process, from shaping the silver to creating a seamless finish. By the end, you’ll walk away with a beautiful custom pair of hoop earrings. All materials and tools are provided—just bring your creativity and excitement to learn!

HAND FORGED LINK BRACELET, SATURDAY MARCH 28
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner/Intermediate
In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the art of chainmaking by creating their very own hand-forged silver link bracelet. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor with over 35 years in the craft, you’ll master essential techniques such as forging, bending, and soldering to form seamless links that come together to create a unique, custom-designed chain.
Throughout the class, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of tools, including the torch, drill, and rolling mill, to develop your skills in texturing and shaping metal. The class will also cover how to create a hand-forged clasp, adding a personal finishing touch to your bracelet.
Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with metalworking, you’ll receive expert instruction, practical tips, and creative guidance to bring your vision to life. By the end of the course, you will have a beautiful, wearable piece of jewelry that showcases your craftsmanship and creativity.

PAINTING WITH ENAMEL

LEARN THE ART OF CLOISONNÉ ENAMELING: JUNE 13-14, 9:30AM-4:30PM
Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Immerse yourself in the ancient art of cloisonné enameling as you create a pendant with this pattern or a simple design of your choice. In this class, you’ll work with fine silver wire and a copper base to bring your design to life, combining rich colors and intricate craftsmanship to create a wearable piece of art.

MASTERING BEZEL SETTING: SATURDAY JUNE 20, 10:30AM-5:30PM
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate/Advanced
This class is for students who want an in depth look at setting gems or enamels into bezels. We will be working with fine silver and sterling silver to make a jewelry piece of your design. Design considerations, bezel height and gem limitations will be discussed. Students will learn to fine tune their soldering skills, riveting and surface pattern or texture. Students may bring their own gems or a limited selection of gems will be provided.
This class is chock full of setting tips: how to really show off transparency of your gem, setting a gem with corners, creating height in your bezel and finding the correct height. Making a simple riveted bail for a pendant will be demonstrated if time allows.
This class is recommended for students with sawing and soldering experience.
